July Favourites

Okay so before I start, how, how is it august?? I swear it was Easter like 2 weeks ago, okay wow this year is going fast.

Anywaysss... I have been really loving some products throughout July which I want to show you, I haven't done a favourites in ages.. so why not. Here's what I've been loving...

Clinique lipstick: I myself am more of a lip-gloss girl my self as I tend to think lipsticks make my lips look bigger than they need to be, But I gave this lipstick a g and the colour pay off is stunning, its a gorgeous all year round nude. As well as the lipstick being super moisturising and it dry's quickly but doesn't stick t the dry parts of your lips, thank god

Dior Nude bronzer!
My new holy grail!
Not only is this bronzer  stunning, but it provides a natural all over bronzed look lasting all day. It has beautiful  application and doesn't look fake, like some bronzers.

The Urban Decay Makeup setting spray.
I've always been abit unsure about makeup sprays, surely that's what the primer is suppose to do!!
But recently this has been y life saver. I have it in the travel size so it cost me £9. I use about 4 sprays and my makeup last literally all day or night. I do have oily skin but in summer if I go to a party or if i do exercise with makeup ( I now your not suppose to)  on it prevents me sweating or my makeup from ruining.
If you read my previous post (hint hint) you will know my reasoning's behind this being in my favourites... read it here.. http://ne0nshinebeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/dior-foundaton-review.html.

This is the Barbra Dally cream eye shadow stick in the shade shell. I have been more into cram eye shadows just because they are simple and are easier for the hotter weather we've had in Britain. Its long lasting and it reminds me of the Bobbi Brown cream eye shadow in Karat. This champagne colour is stunning and brightens your eyes up.

Another Barbra dally product I've absolutely loved loved loved... is this nude lip liner.. I've had a thing about nude products this month. I've actually used this lip liner as a lipstick and it gives that kylie Jenner matte lip look, but it isn't to in your face!!

Tis is the Makeup Revolution Highlighter in the shade, Peach lights.
This is a subtle highlighter and provides a fresh and natural look.

So i'm pretty sure not many will remember but last year I did a post on this cream, and over the year i've done a bit of experimenting with other creams.. high end or high street, but I always go back to this one. Not only does it settle on the skin in a beautiful and smooth way it smells incredible. I would recommend it to everyone! read my post from last year here.. http://ne0nshinebeauty.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/rose-and-frankincense-face-cream.html

Dior foundaton review!!

Hello,
I recently purchased the Dior Star skin foundation which I believe is the newest of their foundations. Dior for me was always a brand that I have admired but never ventured into since I am a student and don't have that money to spend. But it was after exams and my wonderful grandparents gave me some money and told me to spend it wisely and on something I've always wanted, So basically a bit of Dior makeup, in which I picked up the Foundation and bronzer, which is officially my favourite bronzer ever!!!

Now anyway onto the review, the colour math of this foundation is perfect although they did do a skin match in store. The coverage is high but gives a natural feel to your look, basically its not a cakey foundation. The lasting is honestly incredible, I wore this at my prom from about 5 0clock on the Saturday till 1 pm on the Sunday and it was still holding up and making my skin look flawless.
This foundation is my new holy grail ( yes its taken over from bare minerals, shocking I know).
If you are looking to spend a bit more money on an amazing foundation then I would highly recommend it, but a good high street dupe is the Max factor 3-in-1 foundation.
I believe the foundation is around £30-35 pounds.
I will defiantly be repurchasing.

What's your favourite foundation?

Healthy Pitta Pizza

So recently I have been into clean and healthy eating, and experimenting with my meals, lunch for me is always the meal where I want something quick, usually opting for a toastie, or ham sandwich. I've always been a lover of hummus, so I decided to experiment by making a healthier version of the loved pizza.

Using the Food Doctors multispeed and cereal pitta breads as a base and hummus as a tasty sauce, I opted for a meat free version by topping mine with peppers, red onion and tomato (roasting them first to ensure they are soft)

These pizza were so yummy and my whole family loved them!!

What's your favourite lunchtime snack?

In her little yellow neoprene bikini

Hello,
SO a very exciting (!!!) Parcel arrived at my front door this morning and you can all tell what it is by the pictures.
YES, I got a Triangl bikini, I have been on and off about buying one just due to the shipping cost....BUT since it has been free shipping recently I thought why not treat yourself Martha.

So I got the Poppy Blue crush and I got the top and bottom in size Small which in UK sizing is an 8. I will defiantly do a review on it once I have worn it in a hot climate aka. my next holiday, which i'm super excited for.
I've tried the top on and its so soft and comfy and provides support if needed.
If you are like me and a bit unsure whether or not to buy one because of shipping cost I would recommend purchasing sooner rather than later, since the shipping cost more than the Bikini itself, which is ridiculous!
All in all its a beautiful bikini and I can not wait to wear it on the beach in the future.

Have you got a triangle bikini? Which style do you have?

Martha.

Summer Boho style

Hello,
So when it comes to fashion I'm more about jumpers and fluffy coats so basically all about winter, but recently I went on a shopping spree and picked up a few summer items, since I'm lacking in that area.
Now I don't want t be one of those people that says they hate summer in the UK, but I just find we can't get it right weather wise its either too hot or we always have to carry a extra layer around with us.
I have a certain style and all my friends tell me i'm almost bohemian with my style in summer with flared dress and head pieces.
Anyway I have always been a girl who loves harem style trousers, I find them so versatile and you can wear them for at least 3 of the 4 seasons. I saw these trousers in the topshop in Cambridge and instantly fell in love.. like literally I wasn't leaving the shop till I had them.. yes it was that much of a deal. They were I recall being £36 which I don't know if that's a lot for them but, helloooo they are incredible!
I got this crochet style crop top from river island and I still feel like its a lot of money for what it is.. it was £25, but I know I will get a lot of use out of it over the summer and possibly early autumn?
I got my shoes last year when the healed sandal's was all the rage I purchased these from primark for £14, which is very good considering I have worn these a lot and the still look new + they are super easy to walk in.

I hope you liked this look.
what's your favourite style for summer??

Nude on Nude

Hello,
So I recently went out for a meal with my family and ventured for a more glamorous nude look.
I had no plan on what I would be doing, normally I would have some sort of inspiration to follow by.

I have recently been obsessed with my new Dior foundation, it is perfect for photographs and works well with flash, it has amazing lasting power and is an amazing coverage, although it is very expensive I feel like its worth it, but if you know any good dupes leave them in the comments.

What I wore:

Foundation: Dior star.
Bronzer: Dior nude bronzer.
Highlighter:  makeup revolution golden lights
Eyeshadows;  Transition colour: Rose beam by Clinique.
Lid: Naked and Side car, Urban decay.
Crease: Buck and dark horse, Urban decay.
Inner corner: Half baked Urban decay.
Eyebrows: Gosh eyebrow palette.
Lips: Clique lipstick in nude.

Thank you,
Martha

Iceland adventure

Hello,
I love travel, and some day would love to travel the world and explore areas that are not urbanised. I recently took a trip to Iceland with my Auntie, Uncle and Cousin. Iceland is a beautiful place with incredible natural landscapes (all instagram worthy). W were very lucky weather wise when we went. We crammed loads of trips into just 3 days, such as;
  •  whale watching,
  • helicopter tours in which we saw a crack displaying moving plate tectonics, geysers and my favourite experience landing on a glacier, which many are unable to do.
  • we went to the blue lagoon, now my skin is so soft.
  • sea safari, but we had to turn back because the sea was too choppy.
  • and lots more....

All in all I had an incredible trip, complete a few thing off my bucket list. I would defiantly return and go to the north of the island and do the ice cave, scuba diving, snowmobiling etc.
