Product that hasn't worked for me.

So please note before I start this post, I am not slating this product, I'm just saying why it hasn't worked for me. So please don't think it wont work on you, okay.

This is the Superdrug seaweed face mask.

So I got this product in September, it was a in the moment buy and didn't see that it had no sign of saying not suitable for sensitive skin. So I used this for the first time in the summer and my face went bright red and hot. I thought my face was red because that night I also dyed my hair a dark red so I had a panic and though that the dye was on my skin. To be honest it was quite funny.

But I used it recently and the same thing happened with the heat in my face and  bright red cheeks.

I recon this happens to people with sensitive skin so read the advice before buying.

Glitz and Glam Prom Eyelook

So today, I was experimenting with various prom looks, and I decided to do a dark and more dramatic look, now I probably wont wear this to my prom, because my dress just isn't the right colour to suit it. But anyway I thought I'd show you...

Anyway lets get on...

Pretty much all of this eye look is created by using the 'Urban Decay original Naked pallet '


I started with 'Naked' and used it as a transition shade on the outer corner of my eye. Then used 'Rose beam By Clinque to add some depth into the crease of my lid. Then applying 'Half Baked' all over my lid, and taking 'Smog' onto my outer lid and blending inwards. then I added 'Buck' on top just to darken the sides. Then I added a tiny bit of 'Virgin' to highlight under my brow bone and in the corner of my eye to add some brightness.
For my wing I used 'soap and glory's Supercat' liquid eyeliner, hen for mascara I used, they're real from Benefit.

Whats in my Exam bag?

 

Hello,

So if your still in full time education like myself you will be having (the dreaded) End of year exams or finals. I am officially on study leave for my GCSE's and I am very scared. The thought of me never returning to my current school after exams is sad but I am looking forward to the future and what is to come.

Now organisation is a skill I have only recently learnt was important, So I have my exam bag all sorted, ready for those days that I have exams or go in to study.

 

This post if you have exams may give you some inspiration as to what to pack. I have tried to narrow it down to as little as possible taking out unnecessary items like my makeup bag since I wont be wearing makeup during exams (apart from mascara).

 

Okay so here we go..

 

My bag Is this kind of lilac or faded pink satchel from Primark, I think it was around £8. In it I have:

• My Exam pencil case.
• glasses.
• Calculator
• Revision cards.
• The book as to which I need for that day for revision.
• My note binders. Equipped with Mind Maps, Crosswords, quizzes and past papers.
• Water
• A Dictionary.
• Binder clips.
• A stress ball(star).(Much needed)
• A diary with my up and coming exams on.
• And just a few day to day items; moisturiser, Lip balm and mascaras.

How much is my Make up worth?

So I have seen a few blog post recently about how much is your makeup collection worth? Not only did I think this was a great yet quite terrifying post to write, it will also give you a moment to see how much money you could have quite frankly saved. Oh!

So I have don't the dreaded calculations and yeah, so I have reassured myself that I haven't brought all of this makeup myself. I mean just to make me feel that tiny bit better.

 

And I am in no way bragging about the size or how much my collection is worth, this post is a eye opener to myself.

So not only has this post been a real eye opener for me but it also has taught me to budget more since going through my makeup I found products I rarely use.
